Travcoa.comThe New Year has arrived and there are some thoughts that we should consider when planning our next steps. In the travel business, customers are looking for the opportunity to explore less developed destinations because gaining a broader experience outweighs the desire for luxury in a more traditional way- this will result in the comeback of river cruises, luxury cruises, adventure trips and celebration travels. In 2013 when planning trips, people will seek new destinations, realistic experiences, spending time with someone special or reconnecting with loved ones, personal enrichment through cultural experience and adventure.

 

 

 

I would like to start this article by apologizing for taking so long to write. It has been 3 months from my last post and I’m really sorry.

However this is my 50^th article and it’s interesting that I took so long to write it. I thought that when I reached this milestone, it would just happen, but in reality it was the opposite. I could not just tell you that this is my 50^tharticle and just let it go at that, but I see it as a challenge that I need to face and conquer. So I started thinking what will I write about? It needs to be something really good, something different, something special! And then for a moment I couldn’t write about anything at all.

So I decided to share a video that I saw recently. Not sure if you have seen it already because it has been on the net for a while, but it really made me think about some things that are going on with my life right now. (and to be honest –the fact that I took so long to write this article when it is something that I really like to do and should do more often) 

 

Nowadays when we say that luxury can also be in the small things like silence, love, hugs, kindness or peace, we can also say that humans have less time to simply enjoy life.

Everyone knows that technology came to our lives to connect people, to get them together, even to help people express themselves; however, it seems that humanity is getting lonelier each day.

What do you think about airports? A place which offers nothing but an uncomfortable chair to seat and wait for the flight? Maybe buy a magazine and a cup of coffee and that’s it? What if every time we travel we had the opportunity to buy luxury goods?

High end brands are investing in places like airports to get closer to consumers. Is this because of how little time people have to shop or is to attract new customers who had never before considered the brand?
